Literary Guides and Language Arts
The Connecting with History Literature Guides include pre-reading activities, journaling as the student reads, vocabulary, discussion questions for comprehension and critical thinking, and writing assignment suggestions after reading the book. We have selected a few books for the year so that students can read most of the books for enjoyment without making everything they read "school work."
These literature guides give an opportunity for deeper study sprinkled throughout the year.
