Level 1 books in the Footsteps of the Saints series are about 32 pages each and are written at about a second grade reading level. The print size is large to make it easier to read for young readers, and there are many wonderful illustrations to give a visual for your younger children who are listening.

Level 2
books are about 90-96 pages each and are written for about a fourth grade reading level or higher, although some third graders are able to read them as well because of the large print size and double spacing between lines. This series has books about well-known saints, but it also includes stories about saints and other Catholics that you don't hear about very often.

Level 3 books are about 128-144 pages each and are written for about a junior high reading level or higher, although some younger readers are able to read them as well because of the larger print size. This series has books about well-known saints, but it also includes stories about saints and other Catholics that you don't hear about very often.
