Born in 1381, Rita wanted to be a nun but her parents had other ideas. She married and had 2 children. She had many struggles through her life but she prayed hard for her husband and children. Rather then her children commiting the dreadful sin of murder to avenge the death of their father she prayed that their lives be taken from them.
